Nifty is an exhibition featuring static and kinetic Sculptures by artists Stuart Bolin and Alexander Berchert. Displaying a wide variety of media and techniques, this exhibition will surprise, entertain and incorporate the viewer to create a truly unique experience.

The Private View will take place at Arlington, 220 Arlington Road, Camden Town NW1 7HE 6.30 – 10.00 pm 30 November 2011.
The first exhibition created and curated by these artists aims to be a spectacular event drawing the viewer into a world of light, sound, textures and colour. Both artists have created sophisticated works that incorporate various techniques and materials that range from wood and plaster to vacuum cleaners and xylophones.

Stuart Bolin attempts to capture a snapshot of a moment in time, the use of combined elements of pose, movement and scale transform the viewing experience into something slightly skewed. The use of classic tools and methods juxtapose the old with new through various modes of representation giving a heightened sense of surrealism to the work.

Alexander Berchert is specializing in combining household items, mass-produced objects and mechanisms in unusual ways to change their primary function. His aim is to highlight different interesting properties of these objects and give them a new purpose.
